STRUCTURE AND BODY

The "My Bamboo" initiative combines collaborative efforts among students to create a 1:1 bamboo structure within an underutilised green environment, combining elements from Project 1. The project's workshops emphasise anthropometry, ergonomics, and architectural features. The main goal, guided by bamboo specialists, is to create a purposeful structure that adds value to urban green spaces. The initiative provides a platform for students to think on the transformational power of design, developing them into proactive change agents capable of making significant contributions to their communities.

This initiative's impact extends beyond the development of the P3KU Community Farm into a public place through the construction of bamboo activity structures made from sustainable materials. The initiative not only stimulates the development of architectural abilities but also encourages students to embrace responsibilities as place-makers and changemakers, highlighting the transformative potential of architectural interventions in the community.
